Data center virtualization technology can save you time and money if you understand how to utilize it. To help you get a better handle on virtualization, the February 2012 C-MUG will cover design considerations and details for vPC, 1000v/1010v, and FEX technologies.
Dr. Pete Welcher, CCIE #1773 and CCSI #94014, will focus on virtualization technologies that you can apply in the aggregation and access layers of your data center. His session will provide you a foundation of detailed vPC design information, and will build upon this foundation with the hows and whys to include the 1000v/1010, Adapter-FEX, and VM-FEX technologies in your data center. Pete will also include some FCoE design recommendations for your datacenter. If time permits, other strategic and design topics will also be discussed.
