In March, C-MUG focused on Data Center design. Dr. Peter Welcher, CCIE #1773, presented "Solving Real Data Center Design Problems." The slides review some real world data center design problems, and how various segmentation and tunneling techniques can help solve them. Dr. Pete also discussed the pros and cons of various alternative designs, such as using VSS on 6500 or VPC on Nexus, VRF Lite, Data Center Interconnect, internal MPLS or MPLS VPN, and others.
