Terry mentions "I'll also be talking about how to protect customer data from other customers other than using encryption (i.e. MPLS).  I will discuss how it is important to be able to see the traffic at certain points in the network in order to provide troubleshooting assistance to customers.  For example, if they are experiencing slow application performance over the link, does the satellite carrier need to be able to provide packet traces to demonstrate that the slowness is not caused by the satellite link (other than introduced by satellite latency)."

This session will allow folks a chance to exchange ideas with a panel of network security experts. The Satellite 2010 Conference will be held at the Gaylord National Convention Center in National Harbor, MD.
